Aragon A project receives national and European funding to produce hydrogen from solar and wind energy
The president of the English Hydrogen Association, Antonio González , said Aragon and Spain both have good conditions for producing hydrogen through renewable energy. The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism of Aragon, Arturo Aliaga, said the central government will contribute EUR 1.962 million between 2005 and 2006 and the European Union, 854,000 EUR under the Sixth Framework Programme. The overall cost of the project amounts to 6 million euros.
